The Center at Spring Street partnered with the Boyertown Area Senior High School to host the Annual Senior Senior Prom at the Center located at 200 West Spring Street in Boyertown on Friday, May 30, 2014. The theme for this year’s Senior Senior Prom was “A Night’s Cruise”. The event was attended by almost 60 seniors from the Center and almost 30 National Honor Society students from the Boyertown High School along with Class Advisor Jamison Renfro. The students decorated the Center, provided refreshments for everyone and a rose for all the ladies. The Chasband provided the dance music for the evening and kept the students and seniors dancing all night long. It was an enjoyable evening for everyone and a wonderful opportunity to bridge the gap between two generations.
The Center at Spring Street is a wonderful place for active older adults to gather for the purpose of socializing and keeping active. The Center provides a hot lunch at noontime and a variety of activities including exercise programs, Wii Bowling, shuffleboard, billiards, educational programs, Bingo Nite, Friday Nite Dance and more.
