Members of Fleetwood Girl Scout Junior Troop 1773 completed all the requirements to earn their Girl Scout Bronze Award. The girls chose to do outdoor projects and some volunteer service for Keystone Villa Fleetwood’s Senior Residents.
Their service included park clean-ups, clearing flower beds after the Fall, and collecting plastic shopping bags to be recycled through a program that rewards a minimum amount of pounds of plastic shopping bags in exchange for a recycled park bench that will last for years and year. The girls decided to donate their park bench to the Keystone Villa to be used in their garden area.
The girls celebrated with their leader, Sue Yatsko and Assistant Leader, Steph Davenport in a simple ceremony and refreshments.
