Recently members of the Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club (BJWC) presented a check in the amount of $1,000 to Lindsey Reigner, Director of The J.K. Boyer Boyertown Community Library. BJWC’s donation was made possible because of the success of their Annual Spring Fever 5K run / 2 mile walk which was held on March 30th at The Camp at Cannon Hill in Boyertown. Proceeds from the event will support the library’s children’s program.

Reigner shared her excitement and recognized the donation as a tangible sign of both BJWC’s support of their mission and of the Club’s participation in the community.

A second donation in the amount of $200 was accepted by Brian Quigley, President of The Boyertown Area Historical Society. Upon accepting the donation, Quigley said, ‘As President of The Boyertown Area Historical Society I would like to gratefully acknowledge this cash donation of Boyertown Area Junior Woman’s Club. The Society is pleased to provide a venue for the Club’s monthly meetings. It is important that local organizations work together in order to move the Boyertown area forward’. The contribution will support their mission to collect and preserve historically significant items and information from the Boyertown area past while enabling this history to be enjoyed and studied into the Boyertown area future.
