Thursday, July 24, seemed like an ordinary day at The Goddard School in Gilbertsville until a certain visitor entered the building.

Phille Phanatic, the official mascot of the Philadelphia Phillies Major League Baseball team. The Phanatic began the visit by playing with several of the children on the school’s playground equipment. He then visited each of the classrooms to personally greet, dance and play with the different age groups. The visit ended with a group photo.
