A Fogelsville resident has been inducted into the Signator Investors, Inc. ‘Hall of Fame.’

Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce member Michael J. Fischer has been recognized for his long standing commitment to integrity and excellence in customer service in financial services.

Signator Investors, Inc., powered by John Hancock Financial Network, announced it recently inducted Fischer, CLU, ChFC, AIF, CASL, president and CEO of Client 1st Financial, LLC, an affiliate of Keystone Financial Management, into its Hall of Fame.

‘To be inducted into Signator’s Hall of Fame, financial representatives must have proven their commitment to providing exceptional client service throughout their careers,’ said Brian Heapps, CLU, ChFC, president. ‘We look to our ‘Hall of Famers’ to be role models in our business based on a foundation of integrity and service. It’s a great pleasure to welcome Michael as one of our newest inductees.’

Fischer’s firm, Client 1st Financial, was named Signator Investor’s Practice of the Year in 2012; the award recognizes Fischer and his firm for excellence in several key areas of practice management and client service. Together, these accolades serve as a testimonial to Fischer’s unending desire to put the needs and desires of the client first.

With over two decades experience in the financial services industry, Fischer holds multiple designations including Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL.) He is a fifteen time qualifier of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and has qualified for the prestigious Court of The Table.

Since Signator’s Hall of Fame’s inception in 1956, fewer than 250 financial representatives have joined the elite group. The main criterion for being tapped to enter the Hall of Fame is earning the company’s ACE (Achieving Client Excellence) award at least 15 times. Each year, only a select number of representatives receive the ACE award, which highlights client excellence and the ability to help solve clients’ financial needs. Fischer received the ACE award for the 15th time in 2013.

A graduate of Pennsylvania State University (1986), Fischer spent a year in foreign undergraduate studies at the University of Exeter in England. He is a lifetime member of the Penn State Alumni Association. In 2012, Fischer founded the Client 1st Foundation in 2012 which benefits local charities within the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. He is an active member of the Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce, where he has served as a member of the Board. He is also a member and past president of the Kutztown Lions and in 2013 received the Melvin Jones Fellowship award. Named for the founder of Lions Club International, Melvin Jones, the fellowship is the organization’s highest honor and is given in recognition of the recipient’s commitment to humanitarian service.
