From AseraCare HospiceAseraCare Hospice volunteer Nicole Palmer, Sergeant, Lancaster State Police Barracks, hospice brings joy to others by sharing her two Therapy Dog International (TDI) dogs, Jax and Duke.

Joe Gable Jr. enjoys visits from Jax, Pet Therapy Dog volunteer. Joe worked for the Honey Brook Post Office for 30 plus years and even after retiring he continued to work for them as a mechanic and any other jobs that needed to be done. He is a life member of the Honey Brook Fire Department serving as a Fire Policeman. Joe enjoys life everyday especially when his friends, Jax and brother Duke stop by for some ball catching.

Being part of a hospice team is a powerful and inspirational experience for a TDI member. It is a benefit for us to be able to bring comfort to people through our dogs.
