Most folks can use a little extra help from time to time-and what better time than the holiday season.
The Pottstown YMCA was the site of a MOMS Club Gift-A-Way Event on Saturday, Dec. 6.
The MOMS Club, with the help of several local businesses collected toys for families in need. Saturday was the first event of this kind in the Pottstown area. Any parent or grandparent who wanted of a little help this holiday season was invited to attend. No documentation of need was required to receive toys. The turnout was astounding.
Over a hundred people lined up and hundreds of toys, books, and stuffed animals were handed out with the help of volunteers.
