It is a tradition for the Girl Scouts of Brownie Troop 1759 and Junior Troop 1854 to visit Walnut Woods each year to sing Christmas carols.

On Monday, Dec. 1, the girls sang many songs that included Silent Night Holy Night, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Jingle Bell Rock. Many of the residents of Walnut Woods, who attended the event, sang along. After the singing, the girls greeted the people with Christmas wishes and candy canes.

The evening ended with the girls going back to their meeting room at St. John Lutheran Church for hot cocoa, pretzels and cookies.
