The 49th annual Senior Citizens Banquet was held on November 29, 2014 at the Fleetwood Grange Hall. The banquet is held each year and is to honor the senior citizens for their lifetime contributions they have made to our community.

The event is co-sponsored by the Fleetwood Lions Club and the Fleetwood Grange.

Attendees were treated to a family style ham dinner and musical entertainment by Linda & Mike Hertzog. The members of the Fleetwood Grange prepare the meal and it is served by members of the Eastern Berks 4-H Dairy Club.

Attendees honored were: the couple married the longest, Grace and George Shollenberger, who have been married for 73 years; the oldest woman, Ella Richard, 95 years old; and the oldest man, Lester Hoch, who is 100 years old.
