On February 18 the Twin Valley Rotary Club was proud to honor Twin Valley High School juniors, Alyssa Lahoda and Aaron Wildonger, as their Students of the Month. The presentation was made at their weekly meeting.

Alyssa was honored for her academic, musical, and athletic achievements. Alyssa is a first chair violin, a member of Tri-M, and is also a member of the Twin Valley bowling team. Tri-M is a volunteer group that helps the community through music, such as Christmas caroling at retirement homes and using music to help people with dementia remember more. Alyssa is also actively involved in music outside of school. She takes private lessons for violin and is a member of the Reading Symphony Youth Orchestra (RSYO).

Aaron was honored for his academic and athletic achievements. Aaron has just been inducted into German Honors Society, has won this year’s County Championships, took 2nd at the PIAA sectional tournament, and will be competing in the District/Region 3 tournament. Aaron is very involved in The Twin Valley Raider Mat Club. When he isn’t training for a competition or match, he can often be found doing volunteer coaching with the Middle School and Elementary School wrestling teams.
