A classic whodunit at Moonlight Winery has been sponsored by Moonlight Winery, Fecho Productions and Genesius Theatre.
After the huge success of A Christmas Carol on the Trolley, that commenced and ended at the Moonlight Winery, Fecho Productions and Moonlight Winery have teamed up, once again, to present “Murder At Moonlight Winery” – the mystery is entitled – “Murderoulsy Uncorked!”
This fun interactive event will be a rare vintage, indeed, and the world of fine wines is ripe with intrigue for all those would-be sleuths out there. The mystery will take place in several rooms throughout the winery, in this National Historic Registered farmhouse, of the allegedly haunted, Ridgewood Farmstead. As the guests go from room-to-room meeting various suspects, they will also be treated to a complimentary glass of wine or beverage and complimentary hors d’oeuvres, as they each try to crack this case. The guest who comes closest to solving the mystery will win a prize for their top-notch detective work and there is a booby prize for the person without a clue.
L J Fecho of Fecho Productions has been writing, producing and directing murder mystery events through his sister-company LetUsEnterTrainYou.com and Entourage Entertainment since 1993. He has presented murder mystery events up and down the East Coast at many top hotels, resorts, historic venues and casinos. His version of Finigan’s Wake was presented for 14 – sold-out weeks at Harrah’s Showboat Casino in Atlantic City and also played to sold-out houses at the Bethlehem Sands Casino, as well. Mr. Fecho is the Artistic Producer of Genesius Theatre, Reading, PA, and he has also directed over 40 large-scale legitimate plays and musicals.
The cast of the mystery will contain several local theater veterans such as Vicki Nunis, who recently, too much critical acclaim, portrayed Ebenezer Scrooge on The Christmas Carol Trolley, this past December. Other actors include, Diane Smith, Julia Elberfeld, Joe Swaggerty, Taylor Clark, and Caleb Anthony who also were part of the excellent “…Trolley” cast.
The mystery runs on Friday and Saturday evenings March 6, 7, 13, 14, and 21. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the mystery will commence at 7:30 p.m. This is a 21 years of age and over event presentation only. All tickets include a complimentary glass of wine or beverage, hors d’oeuvres and the mystery. Since the mystery is being presented on 2 levels of the farmhouse, the mystery is NOT wheelchair accessible, for this particular event.
