The many adventures, life lessons and scouting experiences have prepared him for his future. He thanked everyone who has walked along with him during his climb up The Trail to Eagle. His reception dinner was enjoyed by everyone and included memorabilia from his years in scouting.

Taylor started his journey through scouting as a Tiger Cub, reached the summit, and achieved Eagle rank. Taylor’s Trail to Eagle started in 2002 in Cub Scout Pack 575 of Longswamp Township as he moved through the ranks and in 2014 received his Eagle Award with Boy Scout Troop 510 of Topton, PA. Earning Eagle Rank is an occasion for pride and joy, as well as a time for serious reflection. The Eagle Scout Award is the highest recognition of rank that the Boy Scouts of America offers to Scouts. It is recognition by the National Court of Honor, presented through Hawk Mountain Council, and a local court of honor. It is earned through the advancement program, and only a small percentage of boys who begin Scouting receive this honor.
