Nov. 1534th Dachshund Dog Show: Dachshund Fanciers Association of Berks County will host its 34th independent specialty show at the Berks County Community Center, 1206 County Welfare Road, Leesport. Three varieties (smooth, wire and longhair) in both miniature and standard sizes will be shown. The dogs will be vying for American Kennel Club points toward their AKC championship and for the ultimate Best of Breed. Spectators can attend from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free of charge. Parking is free. DFABC will be serving a home made lunch at minimal cost and club members will man the “Dachshund Boutique” where you can find that dachshund “must have” for your collection. Nov. 21Holiday Bazaar & Flea Market: St. John’s Lutheran Church at Church & Pine Streets in Hamburg. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Holiday ornaments and decorations, holiday cookies, toys, handicrafts, doll clothing, wood crafts, candy and more. Eat in or take out homemade soups, hot dogs, BBQ and baked goods.

“All You Can Eat” Chicken Pot Pie Dinner: 4 to 7 p.m. at Hamburg Area High School, Windsor Street, Hamburg. There is a charge. Dinner includes chicken pot pie, corn, applesauce, pickles, lettuce with bacon dressing and a drink. There will be a bake sale and takeout is available. Friedens UCC Holiday Bazaar: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Friedens United Church of Christ, 337 Main Street, Oley. Shoofly and fruit pies, AP cakes, cookies, gift snacks, soups, crafts, white elephant and more. A lunch of soups, turkey and beef barbecues, hot dogs and hoagies will be served with takeout available. Raffle tickets for a homemade afghan and other homemade items will be sold.
