Grandma Gatewood’s Walk Book Discussion: Chosen by Longwood Gardens as its choice for third Community Readers title, this book tells the story of a walk that is listed as the first solo walk of the entire Appalachian Trail by a female. The Library will hold 2 discussions for residents of the Honey Brook area, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. and March 1 at 7 p.m. Readers can contact the Library to register and borrow a copy of the book.

Temple Avenue Jazz: will give a performance in the chapel at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, at 7 p.m. This quintet consists of a saxophonist, pianist, bassist, drummer and vocalist. They blend youthful spirit with the standard traditions of music, and their performances of swing, bebop and blues have been enjoyed across the county. Free and open to public. Twin Valley & Region Orchestra Concert: PMEA Northeast Region Orchestra will come to Twin Valley High School Feb. 24-26. Students will come from 12 counties in the Northeastern part of the state. Guest conductor is Dr. Dennis Layendecker of George Mason University. Concert will be held at 7 p.m. (Feb. 26) Tickets will be sold both in advance and at the door.
