Spring Outdoor Days II: April 2 and 3, featuring seminars and demonstrations that offer insight and training for customers with all levels of experience. Seminars presented by the store’s staff will include Dutch-Oven Cooking, Backpacking 101 and Family Camping 101, Drones, Safe Drinking Water & Camp Cooking, Hiking the Appalachian Trail and Next Generation Archery. “Nests”: April 3, 2-3:30 p.m. Bring the kids to learn about nests through pictures and samples. Go outdoors and explore the park with Nolde staff to look for different nests. Create a model nest to take home. Registration requested. Meet at McConnell Hall.

Kernsville Dam Spring Cleanup: Join Blue Mountain Wildlife to help with spring cleaning, opening at 8 a.m. with coffee, pastries and all things needed for a good cleanup. Dress appropriately for weather, boots may be a good idea. BMW will be placing “Trash Easter Eggs” out, collect them for free BMW gear (hats, patches, T-shirts). “Bartram Breeze” Races: Join Blue Mountain Wildlife for 10K, 5K and 2K Trail Races on John Bartram Trail, starting at the Monument Parking Lot at Kernsville Dam. Races include registrant goodie bags, cash prizes for fastest male and female racers in long races and other awards for all races. DJ provides post-race entertainment.
