Hi! I’m called Pirate, but don’t let my name fool you. I’m really a sweet gentleman. If you visit me at the Pottstown Petsmart on weekends, you’ll see that I always stand up and go over to greet anyone who stops by my cage. I rub against the bars hoping someone will give my head a scratch or say some kind words to me.
I was adopted from the streets of Philadelphia as a kitten, but then after four years, my family didn’t want me anymore and put me outside. I have lived on the streets of Limerick for the last four years. A nice family started taking care of me and said I was too sweet to live on the streets anymore so they contacted Cat Angel Network.
I understand why I have to be in a cage at Petsmart on weekends during the Adoptathons. That’s so my new family will see me, adopt me and take me home. Can’t you tell by the look on my face in my picture that I’m saying, “Pleeeease get me outta here! I want to go home with you?”
I’ve been neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and am current on all required vaccinations. I was born in 2008.
