POTTSTOWN >> More than 1,000 riders from 30 states competed in this year’s USA BMX Quaker State Nationals held at the Pottstown Trilogy Park. The track include twist, turns and hills meant to challenge cyclists’ ability. The competition was open to riders of both genders as well as people ages 2 to 70. Saturday’s race began with a winners lap and the national anthem sung by a local singer. Sports Sales Manager Andrew Carl, of the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board, gave the opening remarks. Results will be posted at www.usabmx.com/tracks/1868.
