Municipal Merger Ceremony: On April 26, Strausstown Borough and Tulpehocken Twp. voted to merge, thus causing the Strausstown Borough to no longer exist as of July 1. Upper Tulpehocken Twp. Supervisors, Strausstown Borough Council President and Mayor will have a ceremony for the changing of the Strausstown Borough signs to the Village of Strausstown signs at 10 a.m. Signs to be changed are at the west side of Strausstown where East Rehrersburg Rd. comes into the borough.
