Child Certified Passenger Safety Technicians and trained volunteers will check child car seats for: recalls and damage; best fit for weight, height, and age; and will teach installation techniques. Celebrate Recovery: The newest ministry at Hopewell Community Church, 1130 Commerce Drive, Pottstown, will “Celebrate Recovery” through meetings every Wednesday at 7 p.m. Celebrate Recovery deals with Hurts, Hang Ups, and yes Habits. It is a twelve step program, unlike other programs we know who our “higher power” is, the one and only God and it is biblically based. We will honor Jesus and Praise Him. Chronic Disease Management Support Group (formerly called Congestive Heart Failure Support Group): On the second Wednesday of each month, the Chronic Disease Management Support Group invites a featured guest who covers a key topic that is beneficial to those managing heart health and other chronic diseases. Light heart-healthy snacks are also provided. In an effort to provide healthy education and useful tools, Berks VNA offers this program to the community for no charge. It is available as the result of a grant awarded to Berks VNA from Highmark Foundation for chronic care management of congestive heart failure.
