The Reading Public Museum hosted over 200 young fans of Thomas the Tank Engine for a meet and greet with Sir Topham Hatt, the famous conductor that appears in many episodes of the television series Thomas & Friends.

During Sir Topham Hatt’s visit, young fans gathered around and had the chance to ask questions about the land of Sodor, have their photo taken with him and listen while he read them a story. This event was exclusively for Museum Members, Members of the PBS WITF Kid’s Club Members, and winners of the Berks County Library Member raffle. Museum Members also enjoyed the Thomas and FriendsTM: Explore the Rails Exhibit, which is on display through May 14, had their fun at coal tossing, engaged in pin the smoke stack on Thomas and made conductor hats. Sir Topham Hatt’s visit would not have been possible without the help of PBS WLVT, PBS WITF and the Berks County Public Libraries.
