Summary:”The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”, is the much anticipated sequel to last year’s blockbuster “The Hunger Games”. In the second installment of the trilogy, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, (characters from the original movie) are reunited to participate in a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Katniss sees signs of a potential rebellion against the tyrannical Capitol, but President Snow is still very much in control. It is against this backdrop that the 75th Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) takes place, an event which has the power to change Panem.

This movie stars Jennifer Lawrence, is rated PG-13, and its running time is 146 minutes. You can catch “Hunger Games: Catching Fire” at the Hamburg Strand Theater at 7 p.m., on Thursday, Dec. 5.

Rodeo’s Review: At first, I didn’t like this movie because I didn’t see the first “Hunger Games”, and there was a lot of characters just talking... so I didn’t know who were the good people or the bad people. But when the action started, I was able to tell who was good and who was bad. I really like the scary monkeys, smoke, and the water clock. I want to know who wins in the “games”, but the story ended so... I won’t be able to find out until part 3, which I want to see as soon as it is done! I give this movie 2 out of 4 boxes of popcorn.

4 out of 4 boxes of popcorn...A+

3 out of 4 boxes of popcorn...B

2 out of 4 boxes of popcorn...C

1 out of 4 boxes of popcorn...D
