It started early this season, before winter’s calendar domain,
and we only had a few days of reprieve since then.
It’s been cold, cold and snowy,
with just no relent.Over fifty inches of snow thus far,
with some on the ground since last fall.
We have cold and snow like never before. One person is missing… where the heck is Al Gore?
Our heating bills are higher than ever.
Our backs and shovels are breaking from the strain
of removing white rain that’s settled in for a long winter’s stay.
We have only days off between storm to storm,
to rest, or fix broken things, then start shoveling all over again.
We have cold and snow like never before. One person is missing… where the heck is Al Gore?
I’ve heard many speeches on climate change.
That global warming is because of man’s life style, unrestrained.
We are warming the Earth, it’s all mankind’s fault.
But as I look outside today, I can’t help but say…
We have cold and snow like never before. One person is missing… where the heck is Al Gore?
I could use some help here.Someone like Al, who would surely lend a shovel-ready hand.
Someone who understands my pain,
of worrying if my roof will fail, or the upcoming flooding from rain.
We have cold and snow like never before. One person is missing… where the heck is Al Gore?
