I want to personally THANK the Hamburg community for supporting the Hamburg Grange’s most recent pot pie dinners. The September dinner was a success! We planned for 300 people and we sold out at 6 p.m. Sorry that not everyone could be served.
The November dinner was an even bigger success! We served 420 people and gave 46 veterans and active military a free meal. THANK YOU for your service to our country. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by the craft show and the football games. It was a busy weekend at the Hamburg Area High School.
Our next dinner will be February 21, 2015, from 4-7 p.m. at the high school. The snow date will be Feb. 28, but we hope that we don’t need to use it. All proceeds will benefit the “Save Our Strand” campaign for the Our Town Foundation. We hope the entire community will support this endeavor. We will also be collecting non-perishable food items for the Northern Berks Food Pantry since February is National Canned Food Month.
