    Kutztown Community Partnership resumes their Clean Up program for the spring of 2014

    On March 9, 2014, the Kutztown Community Partnership resumed their Safe, Clean, & Green Committee’s Community Clean Up Program. Kutztown University affiliated groups Environmental Issues, Outdoors Club and Sigma Alpha Epsilon participated in the post-Kutztown St. Patty’s Day clean up, targeting Main Street and party hotspot Noble Street for debris collection. This marked the first clean up for the spring semester, and the weekly Sunday clean ups will continue from 12 p.m.to 2 p.m.

    Jessica Palko and Cody Knight advance to the All State Musical Festival in Hershey

    Senior Jessica Palko and junior Cody Knight have advanced to the All State Music Festival in Hershey which is a huge accomplishment for both of them. For Jessica it is her first time ever auditioning and for Cody it is his second year in a row making it to the Festival. The music festival will be held in Hershey from March 26 through the 29.

    Hamburg VFW presented with flag flown in Kuwait

    During the monthly meeting of VFW Post 216 SFC Paul Shollenberger of the PA National Guard presented the post with a flag which was flown over his camp in Kuwait. The flag was accompanied by a certificate of appreciation thanking Post 216 for the comfort packages that were sent to the troops while the unit was deployed to Kuwait in 2013.
