"We did it," Anne Benfield cheered as the Derecolas family left the Mobility Works lot in Norristown in their new, wheelchair accessible van. Four months ago Benfield started a fund designed to get a new van for Alaina Derecola.

<![CDATA[Fleetwood Girl Scout Daisy Troop participates in Amazing Animal Robotics workshop]]> Fleetwood Girl Scout Daisy Troop 1956 took a trip to Snapology.

The girls participated in the Amazing Animal Robotics workshop where they made a robotic drumming monkey from start to finish. They also learned the importance of gears, axles and motors.

The girls split up into teams to build their monkey and then they were shown how to program different rhythms and sounds so each one danced to the beat of a different drum.
