The 15-time World Champion marching unit rehearsed at the football stadium and even used the middle school as a hotel during their days here in Hamburg.

Because they are so comfortable in Hamburg, the group specifically requests to rehearse here every year according to Patrick Seidling, of the Blue Devils.

Lions members did the cooking, all did the eating and David Kline filled the air with recollections, banjo and guitar music and a set of strong vocal chords.

Tom Roth was the program chairperson. Their mission is to educate and bring awareness to the growing illegal drug problem within Hamburg area. Involve residents, churches, and civic organizations and businesses to commit to the cause as quickly as possible.

We are just getting packed and adding the finishing touches to our itinerary.

<![CDATA[New school year kicks off at St. Francis Academy]]> Students at St. Francis Academy in Bally began the new school year on Tuesday, Aug. 26. As a part of the first day, Students, kindergarten through eighth grade, were greeted by the school's principal, Deacon Thomas Murphy.

The students received their religion books in a special service down the block at Most Blessed Sacrament Church in the afternoon.

<![CDATA[Boyertown's Technology Student Association attends the national conference]]> For the first time in twenty years, the Boyertown Area Senior High School Technology Student Association was able to attend the national conference located in Washington, D.C. from June 27 to July 2.

Throughout the summer, nine Boyertown students and their advisor Josh Pennington competed in STEM-based events, elected their national officers, and stayed in the Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center.
