"'I destroy homes and tear families apart,'" read Green. "'If you need me, remember, I'm easily found. I live all around, in your schools and in your town.'"

Green was referring to drug addiction, a recent growing problem in the Brandywine Heights and Kutztown area school districts.

Charles E. Scheirer, 85, Kutztown passed away in his residence April 19, 2014. He was the husband of Marian M. (Bittner) Scheirer to whom they celebrated 60 years of marriage.

He was born in Egypt, Lehigh County, a son of the late Victor and Mary (Novak) Scheirer.

Charles was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kutztown where he had served on the church council.

<![CDATA[Trinity in Topton performs Cantata 'The Living Last Words']]> The crucifixion scene dramatically displayed at Trinity Lutheran Evangelical Church in Topton, PA on Good Friday was stunning. The huge cross at center, built by Bill Moyer and Steve Beck, draped with tattered black fabric, was topped with a crown of thorns and backed by an enormous sunset mural, painted by Meghan Smith.

The concert is open to the public, minimal admission fee charges. While others were looking for brightly colored and decorated eggs left by the Easter Bunny over the weekend, a group of 50 egg hunters took the challenge of finding hidden eggs left over by the Easter Raptor Passover at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary in Kempton on Saturday, April 19.

"I am so excited that you're here, you're eager," said Rachel, of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary.

Only one institution in the United States, the Judge Rotenberg Eucational Center in Canton, Mass., is known to use an electrical stimulation device to administer shocks, according to a report released by the Food and Drug Administration in advance of an advisory meeting scheduled April 24 to discuss whether to prohibit the device.

The man who's accusing "X-Men" director Bryan Singer of sexual abusing him when he was a teen is now accusing three other Hollywood bigwigs of the same thing.

The Associated Press reports the allegations made by Michael Egan III are similar to those he makes against Singer in the lawsuit filed last week: That the people in question abused him between the ages of 15 and 17 in Los Angeles and Hawaii.

Drew Barrymore has given birth to her second child, she announced Tuesday.

"Happy to announce that today we are the proud parents of our second daughter, Frankie Barrymore Kopelman," Barrymore and husband Will Kopelman told "Olive has a new little sister, and everyone is healthy and happy!"


They didn't say exactly when or where Frankie was born, but it must've been after Sunday brunch, when Barrymore posted photos of her eating a number of dishes, including dim sum.
