The drummer in the band, Chuck Kildea, is a Honey Brook Borough resident and is looking forward to the opportunity to showcase the bands' talent and enthusiasm for performing.

Today, he is bicycling across the country to raise awareness about the benefits of cochlear implants for the deaf and hard of hearing and raising money for people who need a cochlear implant but cannot afford it.

Komen 3-Day Breast Cancer, starting 7:30 a.m. July 11 at St. Peters Village in Chester County.

The rider awards support boobs in more than one way.

Made out of colorfully decorated bras, the Boob Awards will be awarded to Most Supportive, Best Dressed, Most Aggressive, Oldest Rider, Youngest, King of the Mountain, The "A" Cup, Best Overall and others.

<![CDATA[Twin Valley student Cheveay "CJ" Morton receives U.S. Achievement Academy Scholarship]]> Twin Valley High School student Cheveay "CJ" Morton was nominated by his 8th grade math teacher, Mr. Jeff Bateman, for United States Achievement Academy Scholarship (USAAS). In November he was selected as one of the USAAS winners of a nominal cash grant.

He also became a certified Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) this June and was awarded at the end of the school year Certificate of Outstanding Academic Achievement for 9th grade History.

Members of Twin Valley Girl Scout Troop 1489 donated 15 pairs of sweat pants and two cases of Girl Scout cookies to the Coatesville Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The girls used their earned cookie money to purchase the sweat pants and the cookies were donated by people purchasing Girl Scout cookies from them.
