Volunteers all over town rang the bells in various churches and the Kutztown Area Historical Society. The Kutztown Fire Company crew rang their fire bell, and some people rang bells in their back yards and porches.

Dori Hoch, Blandon, recently released her newest book filled with colorful illustrations and the competitive antics of, "The Easter Bunny Brothers."

Hoch, a retired elementary teacher and reading specialist from the Fleetwood and Wilson School Districts, collaborated with artist, author, and West Lawn native, Jane Wolfgang, former elementary art teacher for Governor Mifflin and Wilson School Districts, to create a book suitable for preschoolers through early elementary.

<![CDATA[Fleetwood Area School District Report presents Spring Musicals]]> The Fleetwood Area School District is proud to present three musicals for your enjoyment this month.

The first will be Shrek, Jr. presented by the middle school. The rights to perform this musical were just released in October, so Fleetwood Middle School is one of the first schools to perform it! Auditions were held in December and students have been practicing four days a week since the start of January.

In 2012, GSEP hosted the "Century of the Girl" Expo held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts. GSEP anticipates a larger and more diverse attendance at its upcoming event, which is open to all girls - not just Girl Scouts.

However, the PA Utility Commission has proposed a regulation that would limit the amount of clean energy a private entity can produce to 110 percent of what they use each year.
