The team worked with the St. Vrain Habitat for Humanity in Longmont, Colorado. Many of the houses the group worked on will belong to displaced flood victims from the 2013 flooding.

<![CDATA[Eyes of the Wild at Schuylkill Valley Community Library: Animal presenter Kimberly Gruning entertained crowd with stories and facts about animals she brought to Leesport]]> After reading books and doing a craft to commemorate Father's Day in the Children's section of the Schuylkill Valley Community Library, Children's Librarian, Kelly Jacoby, led the group outside for a presentation by Eyes of the Wild of Stockton, N.J.

The busy day at the library on June 19 was attended by more than 80 children and 40 adults who lined up at the front of the library doors, awaiting a day that was both educational and fun for everyone.

Troy and Allison Reppert of Shillington, the co-owners of CFF Promotions and producer of the Hamburg Wine & Food Fest, learned from a friend about the plight of Megan Hickey, a young woman with multiple health issues, who was out of work, hospitalized, and struggling to survive both physically and financially.
