The June 15 concert was a part of a summer concert series held at Union Jack's Inn on the Manatawny, 546 Manatawny Rd, Boyertown. They opened for the band, Frog Holler.

The kids, part of the music school Richmond Street Music Lessons, are known as the Richmond Street Rockers when they're on stage.

B: A dish of meat and/or vegetables, cooked in an Indian style sauce of strong flavor, typically using turmeric and other spices. It is often served with rice.

I know nothing of horsemanship, so I'll leave definition A to those who do.

<![CDATA[Birdsboro issues boil water advisory]]> The borough has issued a boil water advisory for customers of the municipal water authority. According to the notice posted to the borough's website, customers are advised not to drink any water from their faucets without boiling it first for at least one minute. Customers are also advised to use bottled water if possible for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes or food preparation.

<![CDATA[Chesco athletes excel at Special Olympic Games]]>

Two athletes from Chester County who represented Pennsylvania at the 2014 Special Olympics National Games returned home victorious from the competition.

Justin Grimley of Elverson and Sonja Swanenburg of Coatesville won medals in bocce and bowling, respectively, at the event, which is held every four years and this year ran from June 20-24 at 11 sports venues in New Jersey.

Just three months into their capital campaign, Our Town Foundation has raised the funds to meet its first goal in the Save Our Strand Campaign which began this past March. A new digital projector, screen and sound system were purchased and installed while the Strand Theater was closed from July 1 to July 10.
