CEO John Paton said the company has retained UBS Securities to review a full range of alternatives - including selling the entire company, selling regional clusters or doing nothing.

<![CDATA[Antiques Complex of Fleetwood closing, owners retiring after 30 years in business: new antique co-op to open]]> Antiques Complex of Fleetwood, Route 222, is closing its doors, offering closing sales to clear out their inventory.

Owners Elaine and Jerry Arak are retiring after about 30 years in business. Their son Jack and his wife Sherry Arak bought the property to create an antique co-op.

While the Antiques Complex was opened in 1985, Elaine's interest began in the 1960s, buying used furniture, refurbishing and reselling it.

After sitting empty for more than three years, the former Birdsboro Market property on Chestnut Street is coming back to life as a Dollar General is scheduled to open on Sunday.

"This will be a soft-opening of the store, and we expect to hold the grand opening on Aug. 23," Dollar General spokeswoman Jaclyn Dees said.
