They play a variety of music spanning 1955 to 1968 - "The golden years of Rock-n-Roll," as they put it.

<![CDATA[Reading Fair brings back the queen]]> Fair-goers will see one longtime tradition resurrected for the celebration of the 160th year of the fair with The Reading Fair Queen Contest.

This will be the first year the Queen Contest will be held at the Fair's new location at the Reading Fairground, 1216 Hilltop Rd., Leesport.

<![CDATA[R&B and Blues artist Jesse Dee hits the lineup at Musikfest]]> Boston rhythm and blues artist Jesse Dee will be making another appearance in Bethlehem this year, this time performing as one of hundreds of artists to fill the Musikfest lineup at 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 at the Aetna Americaplatz.

Dressed in a suit with white button down shirt, tie and slacks, Dee performed with his six person band including guitars, horns and drums at the Blast Furnace Blues Festival in January of this year.

Young area actors got to soar to new heights in Fleetwood Community Theatre's summer production of "Peter Pan," much to the delight of the audience at Fleetwood Area High School last weekend.

Featuring the music from the original version of the Broadway musical starring Mary Martin more than 50 years ago, FCT's show brought back memories to older members of the audience and captured the imagination of the younger ones as Peter Pan, the boy who wouldn't Agrow up, takes young Wendy, John and Michael Darling on a magical adventure in Neverland that involves flying, sword-fighting, and dealing with Indians and pirates.
