<![CDATA[Boyertown students to open for Michael Ronstadt and Serenity Fisher at The State]]> Next Saturday at The State will be a night of collaboration for generations to enjoy.

Michael Ronstadt, a professional cello player and nephew of singer Linda Ronstadt, will be taking the stage with Serenity Fisher on Saturday, Aug. 16, at The State Theatre of Boyertown. Drift, a band comprised of Boyertown High School students, will be kicking off the night as the opening act.

The school, founded by Phyllis Dersh Rudzitis and now under the direction of Michelle Jones Wurtz, has trained numerous professional and semi-professional dancers now working throughout the country.

BETHLEHEM - Robin Williams, one of the greatest comedic actors of our time, will be remembered during a special film series kicking off this weekend at ArtsQuest's Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas at SteelStacks. The Robin Williams Film Series will feature five classic movies starring the late actor and comedian, with a portion of the proceeds from each film going to support the Greater Lehigh Valley Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

From Aug. 15-17, the 53rd annual Philadelphia Folk Festival will feature dozens of performers on seven stages.

Or think of it as a concert gathering among friends in a 40-acre living room, which is actually a working farm in bucolic Upper Salford.

Since the lineup was first announced by the Philadelphia Folksong Society, Jason Isbell of Drive-By Truckers was added to the Sunday evening roster, and rising bluegrass/country singer Sturgill Simpson was added to the Thursday night campers-only/"World Cafe" recording session concert.
