<![CDATA[Free Concert: Black Horse Motel brings folk music to Honey Brook Aug. 9]]> Honey Brook Borough's third concert of the free Concert in the Park series will be held on Sunday, Aug. 9 at 5:30 p.m. when Philadelphia-based Americana band Black Horse Motel takes the stage.

"The summer concert series began in 2010. I had attended other community outdoor summer concerts and really felt that Honey Brook needed live music in the park," said Park and Recreation Chairperson Jeanne Jenzano.

<![CDATA[Ceramics passion brings clean water to developing nations]]> A Glenmoore potter has found a way to combine his love of ceramics with his passion to help people in third-world countries.

Clay For Water was created by Corey Johnson of CJ Pottery to raise awareness of and money for clean water access in developing countries like Nicaragua.

"We are all about educating people on both sides of the spectrum - people who have more than they know how to deal with, and people who have next to nothing," Johnson said in a telephone interview.

"ART Attack has no particular theme or size restrictions," explained Studio B Gallery Director Susan Biebuyck. "Summer is such a freeing, relaxing time for many of us, a time of exploration and fun.
