Courteney Cox says it's time to give up on the idea of a "Friends" reunion.

Cox told David Letterman on "Late Show" on Monday that there won't be a "Friends" reunion, mostly because it's too difficult to get all six former castmates on the same page at the same time.

"You're sick of the question, aren't you?" Letterman asked Cox, who played Monica Geller on the NBC sitcom.

<![CDATA[TV death watch: Is your favorite show in trouble?]]>

In prime time, as elsewhere, it's good to be king.

Most TV shows don't enjoy that kind of luxury.
