Boyertown’s Danielle Croner to represent the PASC in Washington D.C.

On Friday, Nov. 15, Boyertown Area School District announced that Boyertown Area Senior High Senior, and Pennsylvania Association of Student Councils (PASC) state conference president Danielle Croner will be representing the PASC in Washington D.C. on Friday, Nov. 22, at a 2 p.m. meeting with the United States Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.

On Saturday, Nov. 23, Croner will make her way to Harrisburg’s State Capital Building for an 11:30 a.m. interview with the selection committee comprised of representatives from the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and PASC as a top ten state finalist in the United States Senate Youth Scholarship program.

In early October, Croner had been selected as the 2014 Berks County Outstanding Young Woman where she was awarded $6,000 in cash scholarships and other prizes, and also won $250 each for finishing first in the interview, performing arts and presence and presentation categories.
