It is a holiday tradition of some years that the dancers who come to the Shartlesville Lions Club line dances and the Lions themselves hold a covered dish supper together.

This year about 70 dancers and many of the Lions ate together before DJ Jack, the musicman, began the evening’s many tunes that helped burn the calories the dancers had enjoyed.

In addition to the meal, the cameraderie and the dancing, some prizes were presented, by luck of the draw.

The dances, in their usual pattern will continue in the New Year, beginning Friday, Jan. 3, at the Shartlesville Grange Hall.
