Ewing brothers earn Eagle Scout title

Benjamin P. Ewing, 18, son of Dennis P. and Connie E. Ewing, Robeson Township has earned the rank of Eagle Scout. For his project, Ben mapped the old section of the cemetery at St. Paulís United Methodist

Church, Geigertown, and placed the information online for people to research. He is a member of Troop 529, sponsored by St. Johnís Lutheran Church, Gibraltar, where he has been Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and Patrol Leader. He has earned 37 Merit badges. Ben is a Brotherhood member of Kittatinny Lodge No. 5, Order of the Arrow, or OA.

He is a 2013 Graduate of Twin Valley High School where he participated in Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Green Machine Jazz Band, and Orchestra, Berks Senior County Band, Pennsylvania

Music Educators Association District 10 Band, and PMEA Region V Band and Technology Student Association. Ben is studying Physics at Millersville University, where he is a member of the Marching Band, Jazz Band, and Wind Ensemble.
