The Hamburg Moose and the Shartlesville Grange worked together at the Reading Fair due to “common goals,” said Grange Overseer (vice president), Donnna Kunkle, left, that of “raising funds for community needs.” She and a team of Grange members and Moose members were on duty at the food stand during the fair. With her are, from left, Grange’s Bobby Kleckner, Moose’s Charles Henn, Moose’s Wayne Kline, and back, at the stove, Grange and Moose member Jerry Pozniak. Lack of volunteers in both groups helped make this a union of service for the two groups.
