On Nov. 6 and 7 at 7 p.m., Conestoga Christian School students in grades 6-12 present the result of two months of hard work on the production of And a Child Shall Lead. The play, which takes place from 1942 to 1945 in Czechoslovakia, follows the lives of children living in a Jewish ghetto camp, Terezin, during the Holocaust. Terezin, based on the historical Terezin Concentration Camp, is a holding place for Jews before they are taken to other concentration camps. Including live music, the play features poetry that was written by children and teens who lived in the historical Terezin Concentration Camp.
All advertising proceeds and an offering that will be taken during the 15-minute intermission will benefit Zoe International, a Christian organization that rescues and restores children enslaved in human trafficking. You are invited to experience this show that not only remembers but also honors the children who lost their lives during the Holocaust. Tickets will be on sale at the door. All seats are general admission.
