Santa took a break from his busy schedule at the North Pole to pay a visit to Shoemakersville for Perry PTO’s Santa’s Workshop earlier this month at Perry Elementary Center. The event, attended by hundreds of school children and their families, offered low-cost crafts and games like Comet’s Reindeer Cookies, as well as delicious food and lot of raffle and door prizes. Of course the man himself, Santa Claus, stopped by for a visit. Students and their siblings made sure to let Santa know that they had been good this year and shared their gift wish list. They even had a chance to write a reminder to Santa with a “Letter to Santa” station.
