Hamburg Area School District Board of Directors are asking for the community’s input in the search for the next Superintendent of Schools. After eight years in the position, Steven Keifer will retire at the end of this current school year.
“I am sad to see Mr. Keifer retire,” said Andrew Raugh, school board director. “Mr. Keifer will be challenging to replace.”
Posted on the school district’s website (http://www.hasdhawks.org/news.cfm?story=154231&school=0) is an eight question survey for members of the community to take and provide valuable feedback on what qualities they would like to see in the new Hamburg Area School District Superintendent.
“I am excited to know that we have a survey on the HASD website to gain community feedback regarding the next superintendent of HASD,” said Raugh. “Feedback from this survey will be valuable in better understanding the thoughts of our community. I would encourage it be completed by the deadline.”
