Cub Scout’s and Boy Scout’s of unit 144 in Strausstown provided a Scout run service for Scout Sunday Feb. 8 at Zion Blue Mountain UCC. This is the first Scout Service with Zion’s new Pastor, Pastor Josh Knappenberger. The Scout Unit chartered by the Lions Club of Strausstown presented the Peace Light to the church, which they had received at a Wreaths Across America service at Indiantown Gap National cemetery. The boys along with hundreds of other volunteers place wreathes for more than 8,000 fallen Veterans. After service the boys provided a Cub Scout cake bake contest were the boys brought in cakes they baked and decorated on their own to share with the congregation.
