Brian Gerner of Hamburg repeated as champion of the 2013 Keystone Classic bowled at the Keystone Social Club in Hamburg. This was the sixth annual event hosted by the Club and run by Tournament Director Scott Kreider. Gerner was also champion in 2008 and 2012.

The event is a threegame handicap singles tournament. There were a total of 45 bowlers entered over the four days that the tournament ran.

The rules allow for (1) re-entry per bowler. Knowing that he could improve on his first entry score of 577, Gerner used this rule to his advantage. His re-entry performance would have to be at the top of his game, because the current leader, Dave Gauker had posted a fine score of 683.

During the final day of competition Brian rolled 206 and 224 his first two games, needing a 254 his last game to win by one pin. He started the last game with the first six strikes, but the following frame almost proved fatal to his goal to repeat as champion. He left a large, almost unmakable split in the seventh frame. He was unsuccessful in converting the split.

With only three frames left, he would have to regroup and get the next four strikes in a row of his remaining five shots. Not only did he get those four strikes, but added a fifth strike to finish with a 263 game. for a total pinfall of 693 to win the tournament by 10 pins.

Don Bailey finished with a 659 on his first ever entry in the event. Stan Henne and Bobby Heffner tied for fourth with a pair of 644s.
