Exeter senior Morgan Miskovitz earned her second consecutive Central Penn League girls’ diving championships held Feb. 8 at Reading High School.

Miskovitz won the championship with 361.55 points. She also won the title last year, and finished third during her sophomore season. It was an impressive comeback for Miskovitz who on Jan. 2, hit her head on the board while attempting a half somersault. She suffered a concussion that lasted a month.

She was cleared to dive just one week before the championships.

‘I was very wary of getting back up on the board,’ said Morgan. ‘I conquered that fear and am very happy with the way things turned out.’

Exeter’s Nick Tomczyk took third place in the boys’ diving championships with 432.60 points. Wilson’s Joe Warker was the boys’ champion, also winning his second straight boys’ title.

Syelee Doshi of Governor Mifflin was fourth in the girls’ meet, while her teammate, Sharlene Jensen was fifth. Doshi had 287.55 points, while Jensen compiled 279.90 points.
