Who: Governor Mifflin students, faculty, and staff
What: More than 30 teams will battle on the dodge ball court in the name of cancer research and in honor of Governor Mifflin seventh grade student Dylan Moser. The District’s 6th annual Dodge Ball for Life Tournament, held this weekend, will once again raise money for the American Cancer Society. Students and staff from the Governor Mifflin Intermediate, Middle and High Schools will participate in the two-day tournament.
This year’s tournament is dedicated to Dylan Moser, a Governor Mifflin Middle School student and Cancer Survivor. Dylan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2002. He received his final treatment in May of 2008 and has been cancer-free since. Please note, Dylan was asked to attend THON at Penn State University the weekend of Dodge Ball for Life.
