Action-Impact in Elverson will be conducting a Centershot Archery Course this spring.

This eight-week course was designed by Centershot Ministries to teach archery skills and encourage spiritual growth. Participation of the whole family is encouraged, as archery is a sport that provides a level playing field regardless age. The Centershot program is fun, safe, and instructional and follows the model of the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). It challenges the skilled archer and gives the beginner a foundation in the sport of archery.

Action-Impact has a lodge-like facility which accommodates the setup of indoor archery. During the course all the necessary equipment will be provided and trained instructors will provide both group and individual instruction. There are two bow sizes to choose from to match each participants draw length, strength, and ability. Parents are encouraged to participate with their children, six years old and older.

The upcoming Centershot course will be held each Saturday starting March 29, but will not be held Saturday, April 19, as Action will be hosting its Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt that morning. Each session will run from 9:30 -11:30 a.m. and will include archery training, shooting and a lesson focused around Centershot’s theme of ‘Making Christ the Target of Your Life.’ There will be a limit of 36 participants for this course. A second course is planned for later in the year. Centershot is being held free of charge. Call to register for this course at 484-651-1047. Ask for Bob or Dottie.
