Hamburg High grad Nick Sturm competed in the 51st annual Caesar Rodney Half Marathon in Wilmington, Delaware. The race benefited the American Lung Association. Sturm finished 13th out of 1,400 runners, first in his age group with a time of 1:17:13, seven minutes behind the overall winner. This was his first half marathon.

Sturm is currently attending Penn State Harrisburg where is was a member of the cross-country team. He posted the team’s overall best individual performance and for his efforts was named to the Capital Athletic Conference Honor Roll. He was also named Brenner Family Dealership Athlete of the week in October.
