Eight-year-old Easton Albert, who will be entering the third grade at Earl Elementary School in the Boyertown Area School District, was recently nominated, then named, to a Baseball Youth Magazine All-American 9U.
Easton plays travel baseball on the Baseball U 10U team based in Scranton. He received the honor after a very successful week at the Cooperstown, New York, Youth Baseball Tournament.
He also competed with his team at the All-American games in Westfield, Indiana, where he was the starting shortstop and lead-off hitter. He has played games this year in New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Indiana.
