The Oley Fire Company Bowling Team competed in the Reading/Pottstown Bowling Association Tournament.

This tournament was held on Nov. 1 and 2 and Nov. 8 and 9. The teams consists of the following gentlemen: Kevin Bieber, Captain, Milt Manwiller, Lynn Eckert, Brian Craze and Jim Coker. They won the tournament with a score of 3535.

Lynn Eckert and Denny Gould were the champions of the doubles part of the tournament with a score of 1492. Milt Manwiller placed 2nd in the singles with a score of 744. Lynn Eckert took 1st place in all events with a score of 2256 and Kevin Bieber took 3rd place in all events with a score of 2188. The awards they received were cash and plaques.

The Oley Fire Company Bowling Team will compete in the Pennsylvania State Tournament in Harrisburg, PA and will also be going to El Paso, Texas for the National Bowling Tournament.
