Hamburg Area School District is proud to announce that Aaron Menapace is the recipient of the 2015 Award of Merit by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administration Association.
Awarded annually to one athletic director from every state, Mr. Menapace is being recognized by his colleagues in Pennsylvania as the 2015 recipient. The award, which has been in existence since 1988, recognizes recipients for outstanding leadership and meritorious service in the field of athletic administration.
Mr. Menapace has served Hamburg Area School District with distinction since 1999.
Superintendent Dr. Richard Mextorf describes Mr. Menapace as the “consummate professional,” adding, “Aaron does a superb job of ensuring that athletic programs support the overall educational program for our kids.”
Additionally, Mextorf said, “Mr. Menapace is a shining example of what it means to be a professional athletic administrator. We are lucky to have him.”
